HUD WaterSense Wednesdays

NHC is providing the following stakeholder announcement on Water Conservation on behalf of U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. For further details and to register for webinars, see clink on the following link Water Wednesday Webinars. n*******************************************************************************************nHUD and EPA are launching a series of webcasts  on water conservation and water efficiency for HUD partners and stakeholders.  Please join HUD for the first of the series, today, Wednesday, April 29.  The “Water Wednesday” webinar series is a free monthly webinar series to help HUD project officers, grantees, and owners or managers of HUD-assisted housing to  incorporate water efficiency into their programs and projects.  EPA’s WaterSense program is hosting this webinar series and they will provide information on tools and resources that help public housing, and affordable multi-family housing managers save water, energy and money.  Although the impetus of the webinars is the California drought – and Governor Brown’s recently-announced emergency water restrictions in that state – the webinar will be relevant for communities across the U.S. looking to save water.  nFor further information, see http://www.epa.gov/watersense/hudwebinars/.n nnnnnnn
